MONSTER HUNTER FREEDOM UNITE?????????????
I NEED SUPER HLP! I got a new urgent quest called “A STATE OF CRISIS” with a new monster I have never seen before. He’s so huge, I think the back of his shell is suppose to be a lao so lung skulll. I know nothing on how to defend a ton in this game for I have never done it before. Please someone tell me how to kill the Shen GAOREN? I was told i was suppose to use some spear thingy thats on the building but it only does one attack then stop. And the village chief said for me to use CannonS but I don’t know where to get some. And my archery skills don’t work at all on that giant. And im pretty sure melle weapons won’t work either. Tell me everything I need to know on this mission please!
Shen Gaoren is a very large version of the Hermitaur/Ceanitaur. Use a fire attribute weapon, preferably melee, and go down by his feet. Be careful when he steps because he can hurt you a lot should he step on you. Attacking his feet eventually make them pulsate red. This is a good thing, it means you are doing damage. When all legs are pulsating red he falls down in pain and you are able to hit him in the face, which does the most damage. Repeat this until the time is up and he runs away, or if you’re lucky he will die and you can carve him. Cannons are worthless and take too much time to prepare, and the spears are good when he turns around and shoots through the mouth of the Lao Shan skull on his rear.
That’s all I can do to help you. I’d play along side you and beat it to death for you, but even if that was possible, you wouldn’t learn how to get better at the game. Trial and error is the best teacher for this game.
